This soothing Calendula-Lavender Salve was created with a combination of infused oils, shea butter, and beeswax. There are no fragrances, no preservatives, no fillers, and no petroleum. Just 100% all natural ingedrients for the utmost in skin healing and hydration.
The calendula oil is created by infusing organic olive oil with premium dried organic calendula (Calendula officinalis) flowers sourced from Foster Farm Botanicals in Vermont. I use a three step process and a high plant to oil ratio that results in the most decadent and healing of finished herbal oils. The lavender oil was created by infusing fresh lavender flowers from my garden into organic olive oil for over a month. There are no highly concentrated essential oils added, making this salve a safe option for babies and others with sensitive skin (although a patch test is always recommended!)
Added to the above mentioned infused oils is organic shea nut butter, a natural butter from Africa that is packed with essential fatty acids and vitamins that help soothe and heal dry, damaged, or irritated skin.
Reach for this skin healing salve when you have bug bites, dry hands, cracked heels, clean and closed wounds, minor burns, inflamed itchy skin and more. It also works as a nice petroleum-free butt balm for diaper rash!*
The Calendula-Lavender Salve comes in a 2 ounce tin and should last at least a year if kept in a cool, dry place.
How to use it: Warm the salve in your hands for a moment and then apply topically where needed. For external use only.
Ingredients: organic olive oil, organic shea butter, organic jojoba oil, beeswax, lavender extract, calendula extract, organic Vitamin E oil
